In June, the duo began posting fake AI ads in NYC subways. Beyond posting, they posted social media videos of themselves putting up the ads. The ads are gone now, but millions of hits later, Alterman and Ross seem to have struck a nerve. "It's so obviously nonsense, but it also does sort of feel like what a lot of these companies are saying to you," Ross told Business Insider. Enjoy.
